Design Engineer 1 [Mexico]

 

Be part of R&D vehicle development, QCT (Quality, Cost and Time) management for Plastic injection and Thermoforming parts development with high excellence on engineering skills and accountability of each duty to create value and overachieve customers' expectations

Main Responsabilities

• Engineering changes leadership: Study and execute design changes.
• Manage Plastic & Thermoforming system development on new vehicle projects.
• Lead cost reduction activity with suppliers
• Lead quality improvement activity by warranty data analysis, studying and analyzing customer incident parts
• QCT management

Job Knowledge and Skill

• Administrate and data base analysis
• Engineering study and analysis for decision making with strong technical-logical thinking based on academic and industry experience
• Detailed and technical information to several audiences with clear message
• Desirable basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (Plastic injection, Thermoforming, Painting, Chroming, etc.)

Experience:
Desirable but not required experience at a professional level.

Engineer Trainees accepted

Education:.

Engineering degree (Mechanical, Mechatronic, Automotive or alike)

Computer Skills:.

• CAD software skills (NX preferably)

• Microsoft Office (Excel, Power Point, Outlook)
