Job Description


In a time of unprecedented growth and expansion, we are currently seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Warehouse 2 Outbound Lead .
In this role, you will play a crucial part in supervising and optimizing the product picking flow process. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the picking-operations and ensuring smooth and efficient execution of tasks. The hours of this position will be Monday through Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm.

A day in the office looks like this:

  • Reviewing documents and record information; verifying quantity, identity, availability, and condition of product
  • Driving and operating a pallet jack, sort and stack product within the warehouse and dock (if certified)
  • Performing loader duties as assigned by moving and loading freight manually.
  • Performing order-filler duties as assigned
  • Performing packer duties as assigned
  • Open to being cross trained for multiple positions.
  • Maintain high level of dock to shelf turn time and quality with employee involvement and teamwork
  • Complete warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning work; follow up on work results
  • Comply with federal, state and local warehousing, material handling and shipping requirements
  • Direct the maintenance of physical conditions and appearance of the warehouse
  • Establishes safety practices and holds others accountable for adhering to them
  • Cross-train employees to perform multiple tasks within the department
  • Partner with Supervisors and meet weekly to discuss opportunities or issues
  • Working closely with Outbound Supervisor on dealing with trucking carriers
  • Preparing Bill of Lading documents through WMS

Qualifications


Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 18 years of age or older
  • 1 + year of Distribution or Warehouse experience preferred
  • Can lift 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Able to stand and walk for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Able to climb, bend, reach, stoop, kneel and stretch for extended periods with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Able to repeatedly lift, carry, push, pull and handle products with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Standup or Sit-Down Forklift Certified (preferred)
  • Willing and able to work at heights using ladders or lifts to access areas of the plant
  • Background check and pre-employment drug test are required

Physical demands:

  • May be required to stand for long periods of time
  • May involve some repetitive motions
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or greater
  • May also engage in frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing, and pulling of items and items containers
  • Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions to include extreme heat, humidity and cold
