Bookkeeper - Billing Entries [Canada]

With a team of skilled individuals working alongside over 70 family physicians, specialists, and allied health providers, our goal is to get our patients healthy, quickly and safely.

As we continue to expand, we are looking for a Bookkeeper - Billing Entries to join our team.

Summary: The Bookkeeper - Billing Entries will be responsible for daily data entry and other clerical tasks. This is a permanent full-time position.

Location:

  • Virtual

Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing and entering billing data information into the appropriate EMR database
  • Ensuring appropriate turnaround time on all billing entry tasks
  • Submitting all necessary inquiries/ supporting documentation required
  • Submitting monthly billings reports
  • Review insurance billing prior to submission to ensure accuracy
  • Other relevant duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Proficient in computer and electronic communications - required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - required
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to multi-task and willingness to learn
  • Knowledge of physician billing - an asset - training available
  • Data entry or accounting experience or education - required
