The responsibility of

Group Product Management, GPM

, is to balance the commercial needs with industrial solutions and steer the funding of capabilities to reach the result defined by TRATON Executive Board.

To secure outstanding customer value we are building a business and market driven product and service management organization. We are in the phase of strengthening the collaboration with the brand’s Sales & Marketing functions to better capture the customer and business needs in our product and service development.

The GPM office consists of experienced colleagues with various backgrounds and nationalities from all TRATON Group brands. We enjoy solving strategic problems cross functional and cross brand in the TRATON Group. The Team Cross Functional and Holding Controlling

plays a crucial role in enabling Group R&D and Group Product Management functions within the organization. The primary objective is to provide consolidated and comprehensive R&D and CapEx information to support strategic decision-making and operational activities across all brands of the TRATON Group and the TRATON AB holding company. By ensuring effective business partnering, Cross-functional Controlling facilitates efficient steering of R&D initiatives, enhances Product Roadmap planning, manages budgets and provides accurate reports.

We are located in Södertälje and serve as a vital link between Group R&D, Group Product Management and the brands, ensuring the availability of actual and consolidated R&D and CapEx information. By providing comprehensive financial insights, supporting decision-making processes, and fostering strong business partnerships, the department contributes to the successful execution of R&D initiatives and the achievement of strategic objectives across the organization.

YOUR JOB

• Providing consolidated and comprehensive R&D and CapEx information to support strategic decision-making and operational activities across all brands and group
• Acting as an integral part of cross-functional teams and assume clear responsibility in line with core financial tasks
• Active steering of Group Industrial Functions as a business partner to meet financial targets for R&D and CapEx on bucket-level

YOUR SKILLS

• Business Administration or Industrial Engineering and a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Finance role
• Experience in project, R&D or Investment controlling as well as knowledge from the truck industry or any of our brands is a strong merit
• Strong analytical skills, well structured, proactive, self-motivated and show high initiative. Since we are working over all brands you are a great team player with collaboration abilities and excellent communication skills
• You have advanced excel skills and ideally experience from working with multi-dimensional database systems like Oracle EPM. Preparing and presenting high-quality (top) management presentations is easy for you
• You would like to work in an international climate with all the joy and challenges that comes along with it. A commitment to continuous learning and improvement, as well as an adaptability to changing market conditions
