Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ability to design a collection of made-ups catering to US and Europe markets. In particular, design a collection that would cater to the likes of American and European chains.
- To coordinate between the Merchandising Department & Clients. The applicant should be able to incorporate international trends and colour palettes sent by clients into the collection.
- Specifically, the individual will be required to design the finished products, such as Quilt, Duvet Cover along with coordinated Shams, Cushions and table linen to the final detail. Thorough knowledge of the home decor and soft furnishings industry with a background in textile design as well. The individual should be well aware of all the different concepts that can be incorporated into designing made-ups such as the use of Quilting Pattern, jacquards, embroideries, printing, embossing, etc.
Qualification:
B.Tech/B.E. - Textile, Diploma - Fashion Designing/Other Designing
NID/NIFT/ IIFT/ Diploma From Any Reputed Institute
Competencies:
a. Flair for design with the ability to identify and project trends.
b. Commercial acumen & understanding of costing.
c. Energetic & enthusiastic.
d. Should have good command on the Design related Software’s.
e. Basic knowledge of Microsoft.
f. Good command on mail communications.
Experience:
The candidate should have at least 1- 4 years of work experience in the home textiles.
Industry with prior experience in designing Quilts, Duvet Cover, cushion covers, curtains and table runners,
Candidate Prefer from the near by location(Noida)
