ABOUT THIS ROLE:
The role of Showroom Sales Advisor and Coordinator is integral to the smooth running of operations within the branch and wider cluster, comprising of Newry, Portadown and Derrylin branches. While reporting to the branch director, building solid relationships with colleagues across various departments and branches will be essential to the success of this individual and the wider team.
DUTIES TO INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
  • Following up on general enquiries and quotations, while supporting the branch in all aspects of customer service.
  • Generating leads and opportunities for the sales teams through reporting, cold calling, and proactive promotion of our products and services
  • Supporting the external sales team with customer requests, such as technical information, updated quotes, or required product certification.
  • Placing direct sales orders, help organise delivery times and notify customers.
  • Following up on general phone enquiries, supporting the branch in all aspects of customer service, and converting into successful sales
  • Establishing customer contact, arranging appointments and visits to the showroom, and proactively developing new sales opportunities
  • Providing customers with a detailed and agreed specification and quotation based on their requirements
  • Liaising with Key suppliers to provide effective solutions for customers.
  • Working as part of the wider branch team to ensure overall success of the branch and the brand reputation
  • Any other duties deemed reasonable
YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
  • Experience working in a Builders Merchants or with building materials would be extremely beneficial to the role
  • A proven track record of sales and business development in a B2B environment
  • Strong I.T. skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Natural passion for delivering an outstanding experience for the customer
  • Confident working under pressure
  • Ability to manage and prioritise own diary and workload
  • Flexible and adaptable to meet ever changing requests and demands
  • Good problem-solving ability
  • Prior experience of using a CRM system
