Brief Description of Job Duties:
As a Junior Manual Software Tester, you will play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our software applications. Working closely with our development team, you will be responsible for conducting thorough manual testing to identify defects, verify features, and contribute to the overall enhancement of our software products. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-driven individual looking to kickstart their career in software testing.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the BA team and development stakeholders to understand software requirements and specifications.
- Develop comprehensive test cases based on project requirements.
- Execute manual test cases to validate software functionality and identify defects.
- Document and track issues using bug-tracking tools, ensuring all identified problems are properly recorded and resolved.
- Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes and validate new features.
- Participate in test status meetings to provide updates on testing progress and discuss any concerns.
- Assist in the identification and implementation of improvements to the testing process.
- Work closely with the team to ensure high-quality deliverables in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
- Solid understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for ensuring software quality.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work well both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Eagerness to learn and grow in the field of software testing.
Preferred Skills:
- Previous experience in manual software testing is a plus but not required (fresh graduates are welcome to apply).
- Basic understanding of software development processes and lifecycle.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira) is a plus.
- Knowledge of test case management tools is beneficial.

Salary: Rs35,000.00 - Rs40,000.00 per month
