As a food tech startup, Connected Robotics is developing robotics technology to solve social issues such as chronic labor shortages, heavy labor, and contactless response in the food industry. So far, we have steadily built up a track record of delivering products to physical stores and food factories, such as takoyaki robots, soft serve ice cream robots, soba robots, AI inspection robots, and prepared food serving robots. Currently, our office is located in the Koganei Campus of Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology while conducting joint research. There are many foreign employees working in the company, and it is a very lively workplace where English is always spoken. We are also working on joint research with the Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology and AIST with a grant from NEDO. Our business focuses on software development, and we purchase existing robots, but various elements are necessary to use robots in new fields. We are currently developing a new product that we will actively sell, and we are looking for a robot controller engineer to engage in the entire software development process. You will be responsible for software development for robots mainly introduced to restaurant chains which includes: - Workflow design after appropriately classifying the processes between humans and robots - Define the system requirements based of discussion with clients and sales team ・Define software requirements based on system requirements, and be responsible for specifications, design, and implementation. Our Technology stack is below. ・Programming language: C++ / Python ・Framework: TensorFlow2.0 / PyTorch ・Cloud service: AWS / Docker ・OS: Linux/Windows ・Communication tools: Slack, Teams

Required skill ・ More than 5 years of experience in developing software installed in products and systems ・Programming experience with C++ and Python ・Experienced in software design, implementation, testing, delivery, and post-delivery support (troubleshooting, etc.) Language ・English: business level *We do not require Japanese language proficiency as most of our work is in English.
