At Glovo, we are currently looking for an Economics graduate with several years of experience in the financial field and with a passion for dynamic & fast paced environments to join us as the new Head of Finance in the Region. As head of the Regional Finance Team in ECA, you will be leading Finance supporting all the countries in Eastern Europe and Central Asia: Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Georgia and Armenia

Be a part of a team where you will:

  • Supervise Finance Excellence and Compliance in the region as a Finance Value contributor
  • GM right-hand in any strategic decisions and finance-related topics
  • Responsible for the reporting coordination and supervision to HQ and the Major Shareholder on the Financial Statements and P&L performance
  • Set the local Department targets and support the Country review with the GM in alignment with the Business Plan of the region
  • Lead cross functional projects to improve the profitability of the company
  • Oversee treasury and supporting in monitoring financial policies
  • Prepare analysis and justifications of real data, forecasts, and deviations
  • Lead and/or supervise the relationship with regional third parties: external auditors, administrations, external consultants, etc.
  • Oversee invoicing, accounts payable and accounts receivable processes applying constant enhancement leading and coordinating project optimization processes
  • Contributing to the continuous improvement of the processes promoting solutions to possible problems detected and reducing manual tasks
  • Optimize the fiscal policy of the company: VAT tax knowledge, IIBB Multilateral Agreement
  • Ad hoc analysis to provide the different managers with information for decision making
  • Assess new business opportunities and incubate and lead the launch of new projects and/or new verticals developments in the Region
  • Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

You have:

  • +5 years of work experience providing internal teams with the necessary data to make the right decisions
  • Minimum of 4/5 years of experience according to the position (FP&A Manager, Finance Manager/Director, CFO, etc.)
  • Knowledge of advanced Excel
  • Be a graduate student in Economics (preferably a Public Accountant or Business Administration) or Engineering
  • Itchy feet and continuous thrive on learning through different projects
  • Advanced English
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and the ability to move easily between commercial, operational and product discussions
  • Analytical profile, goal-oriented, and teamwork
  • Advanced Excel and Google Spreadsheet
  • An empathetic, inclusive and curious attitude
