Wintershall Dea believes that a good working environment is a prerequisite for achieving good safety and quality in our projects and operations. We are therefore looking for a motivated person with broad experience and expertise in the fields of Health and the working environment. The main purpose of the position is to look after these specialist areas, but other tasks within HSE must be expected.
Roles and responsibilities
The role is a key support to our production operations and their projects. Day-to-day follow up and coordination of HSEQ support is the primary task. In order to complement the department we are looking for a candidate who also will promote a good working environment as a pre-requisite to achieve a safe and healthy workplace, and ensure that prevention of long term work related health effects is included in all relevant contexts in Wintershall Dea Norge.

Support to Production Operations- Provide day-to-day support to Production Operations, subsea IMR-campaigns etc
- Prepare relevant HSEQ documentation, programs and plans such as HSE programs, audit plans, authority applications, etc
- Facilitate risk and barrier management for the subsea assets and the related projects
- Coordinate support from other disciplines within HSEQ and contribute to ensuring timely involvement in the activities
- Manage Health and Working Environment
- Manage and coordinate activities and resources within Health & Working Environment (H&WE), including Company Health Services
- Maintain and improve H&WE management system
- Support line management (operation, projects), employees and safety delegates within H&WE in operation and projects
- Perform WE audits, surveys, analyses etc., report and follow–up relevant findings
- Administrate the chemical centre, and contribute in risk assessments of chemical exposure
- Ensure that work related illness is followed-up, assessed and reported
- Follow up the operator’s “see to” duty towards rig contractors, service providers and partners, within own responsibility
- Close cooperation with the Safety Delegate organisation
- Close cooperation with HR within H&WE
General
- Promote Wintershall Dea’s HSEQ visions and goals, and actively supporting in continuous improvement
- Participate in relevant networks internally and externally
Education requirements and work experience
- Master degree or other relevant education within H&WE. Lack of formal education can be compensated by relevant experience
- Minimum 10 years’ experience primarily within Health & Working Environment, preferably in Norwegian petroleum industry
- Minimum 10 years’ experience with HSEQ support to projects, D&W and production
- Good understanding of health risks related to Working Environment
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant HSE-regulations and standards
