Civil Labourer – Local Government

In this role, you'll join a team of experienced professionals to build and maintain roads and drainage assets in your community. Your responsibilities will include tasks such as laying asphalt, pouring concrete, installing pipes, and grading roads. You'll also have the chance to operate a variety of heavy machinery. - $31.37 hourly rate + Super
- Early starts and finishes (6.00am to 3.30pm)
- Monday to Friday
- Paget Location – Work Close to home!
- Casual ongoing, full time hourly basis

A Day in The Life
Your day to day will involve the following tasks and responsibilities:
- Operate a wide array of equipment and light mechanical plant.
- Undertake labouring tasks associated with maintenance and construction of roads, drainage and other civil infrastructure including earthworks, concrete, pipelaying, bitumen and vegetation work.
- Maintenance of work site and machinery.
- Provide competent traffic management. This involves controlling and directing traffic through and around work sites.
The Ideal Candidate
- White Card
- Current Truck Licence (Minimum MR Class)
- Current Traffic Controllers Ticket (or willing to obtain within 3 months of commencement)
- Demonstrated experience in road construction and maintenance
