- Check and verify importation purchase order and check status from supplier.
- Obtain shipping info and doc set for each order.
- Work with freight forwarder to insure timely shipment clearance and delivery.
- Responsible for meeting all delivery target dates.
- Analyzes documentation provided to determine that harmonized tariff number and whether the shipment qualifies for special tariff treatment, reduced duty rates and ensures all government agency regulations are followed.
- Sorts and assigns departmental incoming work and monitor daily workflow to ensure regulatory timeframes are met.
- Administer day-to-day activities associated with imports in accordance with the existing procedures and business rules.
- Importation experience is a must.
- Graduate of any 4-year related course.
- Salary is negotiable, commensurate to the skills and experience of the candidate.
