About the role
We are seeking an individual who is highly motivated to become part of a passionate and engaged team. Your key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
  • Routine courier runs predominantly for the pickup and delivery of pathology samples including urgent specimens, blood products, test results and clinical waste
  • Liaising between Referring Medical Practitioners and the Medical Liaison Officer with regards to store orders
  • Processing, packing and delivery of supplies to Medical Practitioners as required
  • Preparation and delivery of reports and stock control in main laboratory
  • Maintaining patient confidentiality and integrity
  • Compliance and adherence with Policies and Procedures, Work Health and Safety Procedures and Quality Assurance processes

About you
To be considered for this position, you will need to have a great blend of skills, including:
  • A current full (unrestricted) driver licence is required
  • Previous experience delivering an exceptional customer experience
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Physical capability to be able to manage a minimum of 30 stops per day
  • Ability to follow instructions and use initiative to make sound decisions
  • Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B and COVID-19 are a requirement of this role
  • Previous courier experience is considered highly advantageous

Training
All of our new Courier positions will receive full training upon commencement.
