Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a

Spares Representative (d/f/m)

located in Hamburg-Fuhlsbüttel with a possible start date of August 2023 (earlier/later possible).This position is limited to two years.

You will be part of the Supply Support Operations department in Customer Services .

In this role, you will be responsible for providing on-site support for all material needs and associated local coordination. This may include major repairs, retrofits, aircraft upgrades/modifications, and maintenance events for all aircraft programmes.

Additionally, you will provide advisory missions on-site of customers/maintenance repair overhauls

to provide support and advice to solve material supply operational issues.

You will ensure on-time delivery for all spare parts, tools and related services to all Airbus customers' worldwide using technical and commercial data. You will provide a high-quality response to all customer-related requests within the agreed time.

In the absence of on-site support missions, you will be assigned to the major repair team or provide temporary support to their operational teams within Airbus Supply Support Operations and Satair.

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • As a Spares Representative, you will be accountable for the spare parts material and tool management covering all aspects

  • You are responsible for the quotations, order handling, follow-up, logistics arrangements, issue resolution, and facilitating the global stock dispatch of material for the spares

  • Sourcing parts from Airbus/Satair partner companies is one of your main tasks, too.

  • You monitor the procurement and the withdrawal process from production lines, external suppliers or Airbus/Satair’s global warehouses

  • You develop solutions and take decisions to ensure in-time material delivery to meet customer expectations.

  • You clarify all spares technical queries by utilizing Airbus Technical Documentation and by liaising with the technical and engineering departments in Airbus.

  • You provide weekly spares report during on-site missions and perform post-mission-review presentations to internal stakeholder departments

  • Furthermore, you will be responsible for administering commercial and financial issue resolution, material and logistic support for aircraft repairs or retrofits both on- and off-site.

Your boarding pass

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in e.g. Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Engineering, Business Administration

  • Or technical apprenticeship in the aviation industry with further technical training

  • You have several years of experience in the spares business or aircraft maintenance, repair, or overhaul activities related to material management activities

  • Your knowledge of previous work experience in material supply chain or logistics as well as with SAP is mandatory

Your language skills

  • English at negotiation level

  • Any other languages are welcome
